Wizards of the Coast will announce an update to the Magic: The Gathering release schedule for 2023 during the company's broadcast on August 18, 2022, including more details on the upcoming sets Dominaria United and The Brothers' War, the two remaining MTG sets of 2022.

What's the 2023 Magic: The Gathering release schedule?
The official titles of the 2023 Magic: The Gathering sets haven't been revealed yet, but their codenames have been revealed.
Main MTG sets of 2023
Codename: Lacrosse
- Release date: Q1 2023
The first main set to be released in 2023 continues the story arc from Dominaria United and The Brothers’ War.
Codename: Marathon
- Release date: Q2 2023
The final premier set of the Dominaria story arc.
Codename: Marathon Epilogue
- Release date: Q2 2023
According to MTG head designer Mark Rosewater, "Marathon Epilogue" is a brand new product tied to the Marathon set, and that "there isn't another current product to compare it to". This is the conclusion of the epic four-set storyline that started with Dominaria United.

Release date: Q3 2023
Codename: Offroading
Release date: Q4 2023
