Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister in HBO's Game of Thrones, has already wrapped up filming for the final season of the epic fantasy series and she described her last day as "weirdly tedious".
During a video interview with Variety, the 45-years-old actress at first didn't want to spill details for fear of spoilers but she eventually confessed one small piece of information about her last day filming Game of Thrones, saying, "My last day on set was really weirdly tedious because I just had to shoot going up and down these stairs and that was it."
The Game of Thrones star confirms that she does indeed walk up and down the stairs before finishing, "... and that's the end, that's how it finishes".
Cersei going up and down the stairs isn't saying much but the fact that they're shooting it last suggests that it's an important scene in the final season of Game of Thrones. Many fans are expecting her to die in the final season but if Headey just described Cersei's final moment, it looks like she may end up surviving at the end of the show.
She didn't really reveal anything major but it's still surprising to hear, and Headey's response was followed with jokes and laughter about how big of a spoiler this bit of information is and how fans are thinking about what it actually means.
The final season of Game of Thrones will premiere on April 14, 2019.
