LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy Release Date
The upcoming four-part special, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, is an animated miniseries that will be available to stream on Disney+ on September 13, 2024.
According to the show's executive producer James Waugh, this series is "a celebration of all things Star Wars, LEGO, and the incredible explorations that can only happen when these two amazing brands come together."
Mark Hamill and Ahmed Best Return to the Galaxy Far Far Away
Apart from Matarazzo, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy will feature the return of franchise alum Mark Hamill voicing Luke Skywalker and Ahmed Best for the return of Darth Jar Jar.
Jedi Bob will also be included in the roster after making his debut in Star Wars Legend, where the Jedi once sought to prevent the disruption of the space-time continuum of the galaxy.
You can check out the rest of the cast members included in the non-canon animated LEGO series below:
- Gaten Matarazzo as Sig Greebling

What Could Rebuild the Galaxy Series Story Be About?
X-Wing TIE Fighters? Ewok bounty hunters? Sith Lord Darth Jar Jar?!
The LEGO Star Wars story will follow Sig Greebling, who ventures into the twisted version of the galaxy "where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming a hero who can put all the pieces back together", according to the official synopsis.
As the trailer implies, after Sig discovers the ancient artifact, the galaxy has transformed itself in the most bizarre way: "The building blocks of the galaxy are getting mixed up! Worlds will change. People will change, in ways we cannot possibly imagine!"
Again, while none of the LEGO Star Wars content is necessarily canon in the overarching storyline of the Lucasfilm franchise, it would be interesting how Rebuild the Galaxy could put yet another thrilling ride to twist the galaxy far, far away with the looming chaos it's bound to bring.
