While Deadpool and Wolverine were busy connecting the X-Men to the MCU franchise, it appears that Kraven the Hunter and Rhino already had their taste of Earth-616 when they subtly 'joined' Tom Holland's Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Kraven the Hunter and Rhino Have Already Had Their MCU Debut, Fans Surmised
The most that the Marvel Cinematic Universe had in collaboration with Sony was when Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker/Spider-Man joined Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Along with the past classic villains the friendly neighborhood hero faced, the threequel of the Web Slinger's franchise opened the portal of the Multiverse, thanks to Doctor Strange's help.
That said, of the main villains that reprised their iconic roles on the big screens, MCU fans may have missed out on two key figures who have supposedly joined the franchise without their prior knowledge.
According to fans, Kraven the Hunter and Rhino's silhouettes were featured briefly during the storm in No Way Home.
The difference is, that Kraven the Hunter was already sporting his peak form with the fur cape and spear, and as for Rhino, as fans observed, the villain should have had "longer horns" and a "smaller nose."
Of course, given the foggy effect of their silhouettes, it was difficult to point out if it had been an inaccurate depiction, or intentionally too messy to make out to tease fans of this secret cameo.
To be fair, any comic book Spider-Man fan would want to witness Kraven and Rhino face their arch-nemesis on the big screens.
While Doc Ock and the Green Goblin's returns had already been celebrated, perhaps Kraven the Hunter's theatrical debut could open the possibility of joining Tom Holland in Spider-Man 4, whenever that might come to fruition.
To be fair, Kraven the Hunter's origins film wouldn't be the first time we'll be seeing an iteration of Rhino. In fact, he previously made his appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Even though fans are divided on which Rhino had the better CGI effects, it might be worth checking out how the live adaptation would do him justice first.
