The season 2 episode 3 teaser may have just pinned down who Kieran Burton's character is in House of the Dragon. Here's where you may have seen the actor before the HBO series and why fans are convinced he is playing Bloody Ben.
Who is Kieran Burton? You May Know Him From Aftersun
Although Kieran Burton is a relatively new actor in the scene, he's been making a name for himself since 2022.
According to his London-based talent agency, Burton is cut his teeth at the Nottingham Television Workshop and is best known for playing Alex in the 2022 Oscar-nominated film Aftersun, where he starred alongside Normal People's Paul Mescal and breakout star Frankie Corio.
Burton also played Teddy Stone for 3 episodes in the 2022 mini-series Without Sin, starring Insomnia's Vicky McClure.
Along with acting, Burton worked in the costume department for a 2023 short film called Doppelgänger. Recently, it seems he has joined House of the Dragon, potentially playing one of season 2's most anticipated characters. But, so far, it's all unconfirmed.

Deleted Instagram Post Hints at Bloody Ben Blackwood Reveal
While Kieran Burton has yet to appear in the credits of House of the Dragon season 2, his appearance in the second episode left a big impression on fans.
In fact, most suspect he might play the long-awaited and highly anticipated Benjicot "Bloody Ben" Blackwood, making his official debut in the third episode.
Burton appeared to confirm this theory with a now-deleted Instagram post, where he shared an episode 2 screenshot of the Blackwood lad rumored to be Bloody Ben, alongside the cryptic caption "EPISODE 3 THIS SUNDAY..." and the name Benjicot Blackwood followed by three question marks.
Fans quickly took to Reddit to discuss Burton's post and its potential implications for House of the Dragon's new season. It didn't help that Burton's original post was quickly deleted, leading fans to speculate the actor might have unintentionally given away a crucial spoiler.
So far, however, the Bloody Ben x Kieran Burton theory has neither been confirmed nor denied by House of the Dragon's showrunners.
But if we know anything about the show's following, it's that fans won't rest until the third episode releases this Sunday.
