The social media account of fast food giant Wendy's threw shade at Katy Perry following her brief space trip in the Blue Origin NS-31 flight.

Earlier this week, Perry became part of Blue Origin's first all-female crew flight as they took a voyage to space for an 11-minute trip. However, the mission has received criticism from people online and other celebrities.

Wendy's Pokes Fun at Katy Perry's Blue Origin Flight

The X account of Wendy's poked fun at Perry following her Blue Origin flight last Monday morning.

When PopCrave reported that Perry has returned to Earth after her brief trip to space, Wendy's replied to the post with a joking response, "Can we send her back."

In another post, the fast food giant's X account poked fun at the singer again in their response to the photo of Perry kissing the ground when she exited the Blue Origin capsule.

"I kissed the ground and i liked it," they wrote.

While it is unknown yet why the social media account team of Wendy's decided to poke fun at Perry's Blue Origin trip, nevertheless, fans seemed to have fun seeing the fast food giant throw shade at the singer and laughed at their joking responses.

Celebrities Criticize All-Female Blue Origin NS-31 Flight

A lot of celebrities online have also criticized the Blue Origin NS-31 flight as they questioned the intention behind the mission and its performative use of feminism in promoting the flight.

Model Emily Ratajkowski slammed the flight on her TikTok post and called out its hypocrisy due to the Jeff Bezos connection.

"That space mission this morning, that’s end-time shit. Like, this is beyond parody. Saying that you care about Mother Earth, and it’s about Mother Earth, and going up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that’s single-handedly destroying the planet?" she said.

"Look at the state of the world, and think about how many resources went into putting these women into space, and for what? For what, what was the marketing there? And then to try to make it like... I’m disgusted. Literally, I’m disgusted."

Meanwhile, Amy Schumer poked fun at the Blue Origin flight on her Instagram post by joking that she is a last-minute addition.

"Guys, last second they added me to space and I'm going to space. I'm bringing this [Black Panther toy]. It has no meaning to me, but it was in my bag and I was on the Subway, and I got the text and they were like, 'Do you want to go to space?' so I'm going to space," she said.

"Thank you to everyone who got me here. I'll see you guys in space."
