According to new reports, the Fireworks singer and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are exploring a relationship. Here's where they left things off.

While it may seem like hitmaker Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau seemingly hit off their spark since their viral three-stop Montreal outing, a park walk, and a dinner with drinks, a source told Us Weekly that their relationship is considered "casual."
It was "definitely a date", the source explained, "They had been in touch for the last month and have a few mutuals in the music industry." One of them is Trudeau's son, Xavier, who's a rapper.
The source added that the relationship is still quite new, and even if Perry is trying to move on, the source confirmed she is "not looking for anything serious." Add to that her anxiety that "she hasn't dated in so many years" but expresses excitement that she's "putting herself out there."
Another group of sources spoke to People to say that this blooming romance may already have had its lapses. First off, they are "interested" in each other, no doubt about that.
However, their scheduling are already in conflict, with Katy traveling around the world and Trudeau trying to figure out his life outside being a prime minister.
They also said that Trudeau is "playing it lowkey" on purpose to pinpoint where they both stand in the relationship first: "The timing seems good for them, although a romance is in very early stages."

While Orlando Bloom didn't show any reaction to the budding romance, the satirical outlet The Onion shared a fake article about the Pirates of the Caribbean actor going on a date with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, which appears to reference the initially rumored romance between his ex and Trudeau.
As the caption reads from The Onion's Instagram post: "Angela kept Orlando laughing all night—he couldn't keep his eyes off her!"
The thing is, Orlando didn't have to post: all he did was react with a round of applause by dropping a series of clapping emojis in the comments.
Speculations about Katy and Justin's romance began over a month after she and ex-fiancé Orlando, who share 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove, called it quits.
Despite the arrangement, though, they will "continue to be seen together as a family" as their "shared priority—is and always will be—raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect." Stay tuned for more updates.
