Agatha All Along star Kathryn Hahn recently performed a song recap of the MCU in celebration of the upcoming series' release.
The fan-favorite WandaVision actress is set to make her MCU return in the spinoff series that will focus on Agatha Harkness' next adventure in Westview and the new witches that are joining her spooky journey.
The first trailer was released recently which gave fans their first look at the upcoming series, and based on what they've shown so far, it looks like it is going to be a promising Halloween offering from Marvel.
Kathryn Hahn Performs Hilarious MCU Recap Song
During her opening monologue, while guest-hosting the recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Hahn performed a song that recapped the history of the MCU so far.
The Agatha All Along star was joined by background singers who are in costume as Captain Marvel, Captain America, Scarlet Witch, and Black Panther.
The lyrics contained references to Iron Man, Vin Diesel's voice role as Groot, the events of Captain America: Civil War, Tony Stark's death, Stan Lee's cameos, the three Spider-Man team-up in No Way Home, Daredevil: Born Again, and more.
As expected, the musical number culminated with a big shoutout to Agatha All Along and Hahn joked that it's all part of "corporate synergy" promotion since Jimmy Kimmel Live's network ABC and Marvel are both owned by Disney.
The clip of Hahn's musical number has gone viral among the MCU fandom online as fans praised the hilarious lyrics of the song and the actress' energy in her performance.
While the performance was done for laughs, it is still a creative recap about the MCU that is both a great tribute to the history of the franchise and hilarious commentary on its massive number of projects and characters.
This is also a great tease about Agatha All Along since it is expected to feature musical numbers and perhaps this is a hint at the kind of performance that we might see from Hahn when she sings in the series.
The first two episodes of Agatha All Along are set to premiere on Disney+ this September 18.
