Agatha: Coven of Chaos Star Reveals More Details on Series’ Musical Numbers

One of the most unique things Agatha Harkness did to bring WandaVision fans to hail their new ‘queen’ was to have her own musical number revealing her true persona.

This eventually brought the WandaVision villain to have her own spinoff show, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, centering her and Wanda’s reincarnated kids.

While little to no plot details have been revealed on the official show, broadway actress Patti LuPone reveals more on what we can expect on the new batch of musical numbers.

“[The witches] do [sing]. Our lead singer is Kathryn [Hahn]. I’m singing backup, and the songs have been written by Kristen and Bobby Lopez.” LuPone said in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

When asked what it feels like to sing backup, LuPone added, “I said, ‘Listen, I don’t harmonize. I’ve always been a soprano. I’ve always been on the top line.’”

Right before she went into more surprising details of the show: “But it’s just been great fun [on Agatha: Coven of Chaos]. There’s no CGI, either. What I am seeing on this show is craft.”

Considering that the musical number Agatha broke into back in the previous series will be one of the central themes of the spinoff, it’s likely for fans to be eager awaiting the show’s release.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos was one of the Marvel series initially supposed to be released this 2023.

However, with the Disney shake-up happening, this led Marvel to regroup which series should be served first.

In this case, they will be releasing Loki Season 2 and Secret Invasion first.

It remains to be seen when the official release date for the Agatha spinoff will be revealed.

But with the continuing filming for the series, there is a possibility for the series to proceed with its new premiere date next year.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos is currently slated to be released on Disney+ in 2024.
