The upcoming Norse mythology-inspired Magic: The Gathering set will introduce two new planewswalkers: the first non-binary planeswalker Niko Aris, and an elven planeswalker called Tyvar Kell.
In today's Kaldheim Fest stream on Twitch.tv/magic, Wizards of the Coast has revealed the Planeswalker card for Niko Aris:
For X, one white mana, and two blue mana, this card lets you create X amount of Shard tokens, which are enchantments that you can sacrifice for two mana so you can Scry 1, and draw a card. This is similar to Clue tokens.
+1 makes your creature unblockable until end of turn, and whenever it deals damage this turn, return it to its owner's hand.
It has two -1 abilities: The first one deals 2 damage to target tapped creature for each card you've drawn this turn, and the other ability lets you create a Shard token.

Earlier today, Wizards of the Coast also revealed the first-ever MDFC Planeswalker card, Tibalt, Cosmic Impostor / Valki, God of Lies.
Kaldheim is set to release on February 5, 2021 for tabletop, and Jan. 28 on Magic Arena and Magic Online. The set will be followed by Strixhaven: School of Mages, which is set to release sometime in Spring 2021.
