Tomorrow, January 7, Wizards of the Coast will reveal more official previews for the upcoming Norse mythology-inspired set, Kaldheim, but there's another card potentially leaked today, and it features one of the game's new mechanics, Foretell. It's also a card for the zombie fans who want to create an army of zombie tokens.
The potentially new black rare card from Kaldheim is called Rise of the Dread Marn, a Instant that lets you create X 2/2 black Zombie Berserker tokens, where X is the number of nontoken creatures that died this turn. It has the new mechanic Foretel. Foretell reads, "During your turn, you may pay 2 and exile this card from your hand face down. Cast it on a later turn for its Foretell cost). This card's Foretell cost is one black mana.

Being able to Foretell this for a lesser cost gives this card versatility. Since this card will be exiled when you Foretell, your opponent's discard spells wouldn't work to get it, so Instant spells with Foretell like this one reminds me of Trap cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series in that way.

Kaldheim is set to release on February 5, 2021 for tabletop, and Jan. 28 on Magic Arena and Magic Online. The set will be followed by Strixhaven: School of Mages, which is set to release sometime in Spring 2021.
