Justin and Hailey Bieber’s marriage has been the subject of breakup rumors for some time now, fueled by the pop singer’s erratic behavior, his absence from the 2025 Met Gala, and his steamy performance of “Snooze” with SZA at her L.A. concert.

Just last week, Justin made a candid confession on Instagram about a past conflict with Hailey regarding her Vogue magazine cover.

“Yo, this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight, I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes, I know, so mean,” he wrote in the now-deleted caption. “For some reason because I felt so disrespected, I thought I gotta get even.”
But as he matures, Justin realized that “getting even” would be of no help to their relationship.
“We’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection,” he continued.
He then directly addressed Hailey, apologizing for what he said and admitting that he was “sadly mistaken.”
However, after facing major backlash, with many criticizing Justin for not being a supportive partner in light of his wife's success, he changed the caption to a simple shrugging emoji.
Is Hailey Bieber Now More Successful Than Justin Bieber?
Amid Justin’s display of erratic behavior publicly, Hailey’s brand, Rhode, is being more successful. In fact, gracing the cover of Vogue magazine itself is a huge testament to her success.
With that being said, it looks the couple’s roles have now reversed.
There have been claims that the Canadian singer-songwriter is facing some financial problems, with a source telling Page Six that 28-year-old model is “100% the breadwinner now.”
“What that company [Rhode] sell for, if not a billion, right under that,” the insider added.
A new documentary, TMZ Investigates: What Happened to Justin Bieber?, also claimed that the 31-year-old star is “on the verge of financial collapse” partly due to the cancellation of his tour, Justice, and despite selling his music catalog for $200 million in 2022.
For starters, Justin canceled his world tour after being diagnosed of Type 2 Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a facial paralysis disease. This reportedly cost him $90 million and left him with a $20 million debt to the tour promoter, AEG.
Though his manager at the time, Scott “Scooter” Braun, paid off a loan with good terms that Bieber’s company owed, he still owed Scooter $8 million.
It has also been four years since Justin released his latest album, Justice, though there are reports that he is close to completing new material.
But though Hailey is now becoming more successful than Justin, a source revealed they both remain committed to each other and in are serious in their relationship.
“Hailey started off as a fan. She had to really prove herself to earn not just his love and the title of his wife, but the mother of his child,” the source explained. “She’s really done a lot to make him feel safe … everything just being under a microscope, it’s a lot.”

Sure, Justin’s deleted caption may have offended some, but it couldn’t be denied that it was a brave move to admit his past mistakes and immaturity to his almost 300 million followers and the world.
It showed that he wants to strengthen his connection with Hailey and that he has grown and matured over the years—a clear commitment to improving their relationship.
So, no matter what their critics say, it looks like there’s no trouble in paradise and Justin is clearly very much proud of Hailey.
