Joe Jonas revealed that he is back in the dating scene again following his divorce from ex-wife Sophie Turner.

The singer's marriage to the Game of Thrones actress was officially dissolved last year. It was all amidst the singer's plan to release a new solo album and his ongoing reunion with the Jonas Brothers on stage.

During the TalkShopLive stream (via People), Jonas opened up about the process of making his new song "Only Love."

He revealed that it was inspired by someone whom he briefly dated after his divorce from Turner.

"I was seeing somebody at the time, and I was kind of having this idea of dating again. It was really scary and intimidating. Love takes different shapes and forms, and I was re-discovering what that was," the singer said.

The unnamed woman "comically" brushed off Jonas's concern by saying, "Well, it’s only love."

Jonas added, "I was like, ‘Well, when you put it that way…’ So we wrote a song about it. Like, it was not a big deal, but it was a big deal to me, and a big deal to them, too. But it’s okay to take a leap of faith and just try again and put yourself out there."

Initially, he wrote the song with the Jonas Brothers in mind, but he eventually decided to turn it into a solo outing instead.

Joe Jonas Releases Sophomore Album

Jonas' sophomore album, Music For People Who Believe in Love, was released today. It consists of 14 tracks, including a collaboration with his brother Frankie.

In an interview last year, he explained why he decided to produce another solo album while continuing to collaborate with his brothers in the band.

"It was scary at times, and also freeing. I’m not trying to come for anyone on this album. I’m not trying to put stuff on blast," Jonas said.

"I have a beautiful life that I’m grateful for. I’ve got two beautiful kids. I’m a happy person, and the music needed to resemble that — but also, the journey to get here…At the core of it, if this [album] helps people through what they’re going through, that’s all I can really wish for."
