- Quick Answer: Jennifer Holland is not in Supergirl, but she teased future secret DCU voice roles after voicing a robot in Superman.
Jennifer Holland is teasing another secret DC role after secretly voicing a character in Superman.
After joining the DC Universe in 2021's The Suicide Squad, Holland became a series regular in Peacemaker and recently had an uncredited voice role as one of the Fortress of Solitude robots in James Gunn's Superman. So, where will Holland appear–or be heard–next?
Which DCU Project Will Jennifer Holland Appear in Next?

After voicing a Fortress of Solitude robot in Superman, Jennifer Holland was next seen as Emilia Harcourt in Peacemaker–considered one of the series’ best characters across two seasons.
Unfortunately, she’s not part of the most recent DCU movie, Supergirl, telling ComicBook she doesn't “secretly voice any characters in” it and adding, “although that’s their loss.”
“No, I don’t secretly voice any characters,” she admitted.
However, the Brightburn star teases it won’t be too long before fans “hear” her again.
“But you may. Who knows, you may see me secretly voice another character in the future, so we’ll see,” she teased.
For starters, Holland is the wife of DC Studios co-head James Gunn, with the two tying the knot in 2022.
So, as the filmmaker is now busy filming the Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow, it’s not far-fetched that she will be a part of the movie again–probably voicing one of the robots or another creature.
It’s also good to note that her character as Harcourt is now part of Checkmate, a spy agency that can appear in future DCU projects.
Does Jennifer Holland Help James Gunn With His DCU Projects?

James Gunn is widely regarded as one of today's top filmmakers, having directed acclaimed projects such as Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, the cult-favorite horror-comedy Slither, and several major DCU titles. But does his wife, Jennifer Holland, also help shape his work?
"I think that I'm really good at character and story. I think one of the best helps that I gave James, for instance, was when he was writing Season 2 of Peacemaker," Holland said.
As the first person to read her husband's scripts, the 38-year-old actress provides creative feedback that ultimately led Gunn to completely rewrite the second season of the DC series.
"I read the first draft, like an earlier version of the story that he was coming up with, and I liked it all, obviously. James is such a great writer," she continued. "… I was like, 'I really like this. It's fun. It's action-packed. There's a lot of intrigue happening.' But I was like, 'We haven't seen these characters for like three years by this time.' We want to know what's been going on with the characters. Where have they been? What's changed in their lives? And I don't feel like we're jumping into the things that really interest us about these characters."
Although Peacemaker is a superhero series, Holland believed it still needed to remain "very grounded" because, at its core, it's about relationships.
Her notes resonated with Gunn, who ultimately scrapped his original draft and started over.
"And that's when he came up with the story for Season 2 that we have now, which was really grounded in the relationships," she added.
As it turned out, Holland's creative feedback significantly strengthened the season. Rather than rushing past the three-year time jump between seasons, the new story gave the characters room to process everything that had happened since Season 1.
Harcourt, Adrian Chase (Freddie Stroma), Leota Adebayo (Danielle Brooks), and John Economos (Steve Agee) all had the opportunity to reflect on how they had changed, rebuild relationships after spending time apart, and deepen their bonds with one another, including with Christopher "Chris" Smith, aka Peacemaker (John Cena).
As a result, Season 2 relied less on nonstop action and comedy and instead placed greater emphasis on Chris’ emotional journey, particularly his traumatic childhood and the lasting impact it had on his life.
