Japan Gets Amazing Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Poster from One-Punch Man Artist

Spider-Man: Far From Home looks promising but it will have a hard time toppling Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse as the best film to ever feature the character. Even the classic Sam Raimi films can't hold a candle to Into the Spider-Verse, thanks to the lush visuals and stellar characterization, not to mention some amazing jokes that kids will like and adults will adore.

As if the movie needed more credibility for its artistic legacy, Marvel commissioned One-Punch Man artist Yusuke Murata to draw a poster for the movie as part of its home release in Japan. Murata has since shown off his artwork for the film and it is wonderful, retaining his signature One-Punch look while also matching the visuals seen in the film.

This isn't the first time Murata has drawn something for Marvel as the artist also drew the Japanese poster of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Goes to show that the established mangaka's style works really well with Marvel's most beloved character and we would love to see him write/draw an arc for the mainline comics.

We're not greedy though, so a mini-series or a backup story would do as well.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is now available on Blu-Ray and digital services. One-Punch Man can be viewed on Hulu, though the most recent episode will be delayed.

Many have asked when will One-Punch Man Season 3 release date be announced. So far, Summer 2022 is the estimated release by industry experts, but no date has been confirmed by a studio.
