James Cameron is known for films with a lot of water. He directed Titanic, the upcoming Avatar sequels are partially set underwater, and he's been involved in various deep ocean documentaries. The Canadian filmmaker loves water, so after watching James Wan's Aquaman, he had a lot of thoughts.
Speaking to Yahoo, Cameron talked about Aquaman and explained that while he appreciated how it touched upon actual ecosystems, and found it entertaining, he thought the film was unrealistic in how it dealt with underwater physics. That's surprising to hear from the man who created science fiction films like Terminator, Alien, and Avatar.
Watch his explanation below:
Cameron also fake directed Aquaman on the HBO show Entourage, so it's interesting to hear what he has to say about the DC film.
Aquaman is returning in a sequel but no official release date has been announced yet. The sequel will probably be unrealistic as well.
