As the Idaho Murders verdict approaches, true crime enthusiasts are curious: Is a Bryan Kohberger documentary available on Netflix?

Many are seeking a deep dive into Kohberger's alleged role and the haunting, unanswered motives behind the tragic events. Here's everything we know.

Are There Any Bryan Kohberger Documentaries?

Netflix has covered numerous high-profile true crime cases, including the Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story and Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. So, is there a possibility that the chilling crime behind the Idaho murders could receive the same treatment?

As of writing, there is no official Bryan Kohberger documentary streaming on Netflix. However, there are other platforms that have covered the story.

The FOX 13 Seattle YouTube channel showcases episodes for Bryan Kohberger: Inside the Idaho Murders for free. The series has aired four episodes since February 7 this year, with the latest episode having premiered on May 23.

The series retraces the investigation and developments in the case. Granted, it's not a complete deep dive yet into the entire story, but interested viewers can still opt to view the multiple episodes for free on YouTube, anyway.

The episodes, as the title suggests, collated interviews with family members of the victims, such as Steve Goncalves (father of Kaylee Goncalves) and Stacy Chapin (mother of Ethan Chapin), with insights from forensic and legal experts like Carole Lieberman, Mary Ellen O'Toole, and John Blume.

Apart from that, Peacock and Paramount+ created their own documentaries, too. Peacock released The Idaho Student Murders 2 weeks ago, while Paramount+ has three episodes under #CyberSleuths: The Idaho Murders, which premiered its three episodes on February 6.

What Was the Final Verdict Against the Culprit Behind the Idaho Murders?

Four University of Idaho students were stabbed to death on November 13, 2022, in an off-campus house. The crime shot through Moscow and skyrocketed on the internet, gaining national attention. The four victims were Ethan Chapin, 20; Madison Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Kaylee Goncalves, 21.

By December that year, Kohberger was arrested in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains after the lab determined the DNA from the knife sheath matched his.

From one court assembly to another, Kohberger chose to remain silent in his trials, his punishment potentially rolling to the death penalty.

It wasn't until two years later, on June 30 this year, to be exact, that he agreed to plead guilty to charges of four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary.

He had been spared the death penalty and was instead sentenced to four life sentences without the possibility of parole and 10 years in prison for the burglary. The verdict was reported by NBC News, as decided on July 23.

But before Kohberger receives his life sentence in prison, he will undergo approximately two weeks of evaluations as per standard safety and security protocol, as a spokesperson for the Idaho Department of Corrections told PEOPLE.
