The Goop founder and the Duchess of Sussex have become friends recently as they are both leading their respective lifestyle brands. This is all despite the rumors and speculations that they are feuding because of the perceived competition.
Gwyneth Paltrow Teases Potential Involvement in With Love, Meghan Season 2
In an interview with People, Paltrow opened up about her newfound friendship with Markle as they now both live in the same neighborhood.
While they haven't spent a lot of time together yet, the two have been communicating frequently through text messaging.
"We have a text friendship so far. I've been traveling quite a bit," the Goop founder said.
When asked whether she is interested in joining season 2 of Markle's lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, Paltrow revealed that she is open to a potential involvement.
She responded, "Sure! Why not? You never know. I don't bake that well, but I can always try."
Paltrow has always been adamant that she doesn't see Markle as a rival despite the rumors and speculations about their competition.
"I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes. I think there’s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try," she said in a past interview.

A few months ago, Paltrow squashed the rumors that she is feuding with Markle by posting a video of them hanging out together on social media.
The Goop founder responded to a fan question on her Instagram stories regarding her rumored beef with the Duchess of Sussex.
The fan inquired, "Are you comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says you two have?"
"I genuinely do not understand this at all, whatsoever," Paltrow said in response as she stood in a kitchen. Then, she asked someone off-camera, "Do you understand this?"
The Goop founder panned the camera and showed Markle enjoying a slice of pie at the kitchen table and shrugged in response to the question.
The surprise video shot down all the rumors surrounding Paltrow and Markle's alleged feud as it showed that they are casually hanging out and have become friends recently.
