As Stranger Things comes to a close for Millie Bobby Brown, she rejoins her co-star Louis Partridge in Enola Holmes 3.

According to the first official returning image of the trilogy, Enola and her love interest, Tewkesbury, might be kicking things up a notch for their blooming romance.

Netflix recently unveiled the first official image for Enola Holmes 3, and it's a photo of a surprise romantic gesture teasing the threequel and other movies and shows to look forward to on the streaming platform.

As the narrator tells the audience to question everything, Enola looks up from Tewkesbury, who was still on one knee with the ring, and asks, "Everything?" Fans can check out the teaser below:

Whether or not the proposal is part of the plot to expect or another disguise for the iconic duo to perfect, this pretty much aligns with what both actors previously teased about fulfilling the romantic storyline fans have long wanted for the trilogy.

Brown initially said to expect "a very different Enola Holmes that you're going to be able to see" and "You asked for romance, so we'll give you a romance."

Considering that Enola's about to solve yet another major case in the threequel, her involvement with her love interest will most likely come into play more than she might anticipate.

What Fans Can Expect From Enola Holmes 3

In addition to the romance with Tewkesbury, Enola Holmes 3 will take her to Malta, where she solves a new complicated case involving her personal and professional dreams as a detective. The threequel will most likely involve Moriarty (Sharon Duncan-Brewster), who was introduced in the second film and confirmed to make a return in the third installment.

Enola, Sherlock, Tewkesbury, and Moriarty will be joined by Himesh Patel as Dr. John Watson and Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes.

Based on the ending of Enola Holmes 2, Watson, aka Sherlock's roommate, and their relationship will become a major part of the story, given the dynamic shift and being one of the all-time most iconic duos.

Phillip Barantini helms Enola Holmes 3, with the script written by Jack Thorne (who also wrote the previous movies that were directed by Harry Bradbeer).

As of writing, Enola Holmes 3 has no official release date yet, and it's worth mentioning that this is the longest hiatus in the film series so far.

Production for the third installment began in April 2025, and Brown confirmed in June that filming had already wrapped.
