Netflix released Jung_E over the weekend and people can't help but praise the well-written story. This actually comes as no surprise since it was written and directed by the same person responsible for Train to Busan and Hellbound, Yeon Sang Ho.

Still, for those who already watched the Korean sci-fi film, there are questions that need answering. And if you are among those who have Jung_E questions running through your mind, we'll try to answer them here.

(Warning: Major spoilers beyond this point)

Played by Kim Hyun Joo, Captain Yun Jung-Yi was a celebrated mercenary in the film. Because many people saw her as a war hero, there have been many tributes made in her honor (even in children's dolls).

But after discovering that her daughter, Yun Seo-Hyun, has cancer, Captain Yun enlisted in the war. She was on a mission to end the ongoing civil war but she failed and ended in a coma.

While Captain Yun managed to escape the Kronoid building, she was attacked by Kim Sang-hoon (played by Ryu Kyung Soo)'s new AIs. This results to Captain Yun getting badly injured in the fight. Yun Seo-Hyun (played by Kang Soo Yeon) was able to save her by taking out Captain Yun's brain and putting it into a new AI. The two managed to escape as police robots start shooting down Captain Yun's previous AI body.

Captain Yun and Seo-hyun manage to escape on a train. She tells Captain Yun to run far away from Kronoid once the train stops. Unfortunately, Sang-hoon arrives and points a gun at Seo-hyun. There, Seo-hyun reveals that she deleted Captain Yun's memories so she can be free. With this information revealed, Sang-hoon gets angry and shoots Seo-hyun in the chest and Captain Yun attacks Sang-hoon. Moments later, Sang-hoon realizes that he's a robot all along.

As the two fight, the train they are riding on crashes with another train. Seo-hyun saves Captain Yun by pulling a wire that she is holding onto. She tries to stop the bleeding from Seo-hyun, who tells her to run and not worry about her.

Captain Yun hesitates but decides to follow Seo-hyun's orders. Before doing so, she hugs Seo-hyun and gives her head a slight rub-- something that she used to do with her daughter. This makes Seo-hyun realize that Captain Yun still knows who she is after all.

The movie ends with the newly liberated AI standing on top of a rock. And this leaves viewers unanswered questions like will Seo-hyun survive? Or how will Captain Yun return?

Hopefully, we'll know the answers in a sequel.
