Picture this: a sci-fi K-drama on Netflix this year. Although Netflix released a sci-fi Korean show in 2021 called The Silent Sea, they are coming up with a new action-adventure film this time around.
And as a bonus, the film is written and directed by Yeon Sang Ho, who was also behind the hits Train to Busan and Hellbound.
Here's what we know about the upcoming Korean action-adventure film, Jung_E.
When Is Jung_E Coming Out?
The cast and crew of Jung_E started filming in October 31, 2021. As shared by one of the main stars of the film, production wrapped up in January 2022.
The translation of the caption reads:
But while filming ended, the movie was under post-production the whole time. And this is only expected since it is a sci-fi film and heavily relies on this technology.
When Jung_E's release date was first announced, it was revealed to be the end of 2022. Unfortunately, this release date was pushed back to January 20, 2023.
Jung_E will be available to stream on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 3:00 am ET.
In addition to Jung_E, the director is working on its sequel entitled Parasyte: The Grey, which will star Goo Kyo Hwan.
