Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are finally engaged. But aside from their much-anticipated engagement, what truly captured everyone’s attention was the vintage-inspired sparkler that perfectly reflects the pop icon’s personality.
The couple announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post. The floral-themed proposal looked every bit enchanting, perfectly matching the superstar’s aesthetic and style.
The same can be said of her engagement ring. From the designer’s details to its overall style, here’s everything you need to know about Taylor’s engagement ring.
What are the Details Behind Taylor Swift’s Engagement Ring?

Taylor and Travis have yet to release any details about their flower-filled proposal, but many are eager to learn more about the attention-grabbing engagement ring.
According to reports, the band was designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry, with the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end even helping in the design.
The ring features a brilliant-cut old mine diamond, rounded at the corners, bezel-set in yellow gold, with engravings along the sides. Its size already dominates much of Taylor’s left ring finger.
“Taylor Swift was proposed to with a stunning elongated antique cushion-cut diamond that is approximately eight carats, F color, and VS1 clarity,” Benjamin Khordipour at Estate Diamond Jewelry told Brides.
“The ring was handcrafted in 18k yellow gold, and the center diamond is set with needle-point prongs that perfectly match the antique style. Smaller diamonds and hand engravings adorn the shoulders of her setting,” he added.
Khordipour also noted that this ring is a current celebrity favorite this year. So, with its breathtaking design, it’s no surprise that it carries a high price tag.
Although neither Taylor nor Travis have revealed its cost, Khordipour estimates it to be around $550,000. Others claim it’s worth an estimated $675,000 to $1 million.
When Did Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Get Engaged?

Taylor and Travis officially announced their engagement on Tuesday, August 26.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” their joint Instagram post read.
However, according to the NFL star’s father, Ed Kelce, the couple actually got engaged two weeks earlier.
“Travis actually did the proposal maybe two weeks—not quite two weeks ago,” he told ABC News 5 Cleveland.
The Kelce patriarch added that his son had considered postponing the proposal “to make some grand thing, to make it a big special event.”
But both he and Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, advised him that any place could be special.
“You know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event,” Ed said.
True enough, Travis made it extra memorable by creating a “nice little floral garden around a gazebo” at his home in Lee’s Summit for the proposal.
“He got her out there, they were about to go out to dinner, and he said, ‘Let's go out and have a glass of wine,’” Ed revealed. “They got out there, and that's when he asked her, and it was beautiful.”
After two years, Taylor has finally found the “Love Story” she’s been dreaming of.
