The new Hulu drama thriller series Paradise is one of the highly-anticipated streaming releases this year due to its intriguing concept and the involvement of award-winning actor Sterling K. Brown.
The project also marks the reunion between Brown and This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman, who is also involved as the showrunner of the new series. Just like This Is Us, Paradise is expected to have twists and turns in its storytelling.
Hulu Releases Pilot Episode of Paradise Early
To the surprise of many fans, Hulu released the pilot episode of Paradise yesterday, January 26.
The series was previously slated to premiere its first three episodes this Tuesday, January 28. It is unknown why Hulu decided to drop the first episode two days early.
Episodes 2 and 3 of the series are still scheduled to premiere on the streamer this January 28.
This is exciting for fans who have been anticipating the show's release as they can now watch the first episode earlier than expected and find out what the concept is really all about.
Despite the early release, new episodes of Paradise are still dropping every Tuesday on Hulu throughout its eight-episode first season.
What is Hulu's Paradise About?
Paradise is described as a drama that is "set in a serene, wealthy community inhabited by some of the world's most prominent individuals. But this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder occurs and a high-stakes investigation unfolds."
Specifically, Brown's Secret Service agent character gets accused of killing the President of the United States, and the investigation on whether he is indeed the suspect or not.
Considering that Fogelman is the creator of the series, expect a shocking twist at the end of the first episode which would change the trajectory of the story and make the viewers realize what it is really all about.
Aside from Brown, the series also stars James Marsden (Dead to Me), Julianne Nicholson (Mare of Easttown), Sarah Shahi (Sex/Life), Nicole Brydon Bloom, newcomer Aliyah Mastin, and Percy Daggs IV.
