While most fans are looking forward to next year's Cyberpunk 2077, some were a bit concerned when it was revealed that the game would be first-person. This shocked a lot of fans since CD Projekt Red worked on The Witcher series, all of which are third-person RPGs. Gameplay videos also show a lot of shooting, another game style that a lot of RPG fans aren't comfortable with.
During an interview with WCCFTech, CD Projekt Red's Alvin Liu knows that some fans aren't going to be big first-person-shooter (FPS) fans and has ensured that measures have been made to make sure that they can enjoy the game. While there won't be a third-person mode, which is a huge shame, there are multiple difficulty modes and weapons that ensure a more enjoyable experience for non-fps fans.
Liu also mentions how there are swords and other kinds of weapons in the game, so players won't always have to resort to gunplay. This will likely depend on the enemies that players will have to face but it should make for one dynamic experience.
Cyberpunk 2077 comes out on April 16, 2020. The game will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
