Here's How Jeffrey Dean Morgan's John Winchester Will Be Brought Back In Supernatural Season 14

It's no secret that Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be a major part of Supernatural Season 14. But how exactly is the CW series bringing John Winchester back? The answer might break the heart of every Supernatural fan who has always felt Sam and Dean Winchester's pain.

Entertainment Weekly recently revealed the first look at all of the Winchesters being reunited for the first time since the pilot episode. In addition to that, the new interview with producer Andrew Dabb revealed just how John managed to make it back out of hell.

"Our guys are put in a position where they essentially can have a wish granted," Dabb said. "They're actually expecting something else, but [John's return] comes from a place of want by Dean. The need for closure is really want brings John back into their lives."

There is little doubt that Dean is harboring some anger and guilt over their father's death. After all, John sacrificed himself to the Yellow-Eyed Demon so his eldest son would be brought back to life. However, Sam also has his own feelings about John's demise. It would be great to see how the boys will react to their father's return.

Morgan also addressed his upcoming return and confirmed that fans will be delighted with John's interactions with his sons.

"The relationships between these three men were so open, so if I was going to come back, it would be nice to have some closure, especially with Sammy," Morgan said.

Morgan will return in the 300th episode of the series, which is titled Lebanon. Supernatural Season 14 Episode 13 will air on The CW on February 7.
