The mangaka was interviewed during the K MANGA Launch Party where he revealed that his favorite moment in his own manga was Reiner Braun revealing that he is the Armored Titan while Bertholdt Hoover is the Colossal Titan.

The casual manner of his confession to Eren Yeager is still cited as one of the most unexpected plot twists in anime history.

Isayama went further by explaining how he came up with the pivotal scene while working on the manga.

"I was in Kodansha's storyboarding room when that scene came to me after thinking at my desk for hours," the mangaka shared. "I was very excited when I came up with the idea."

"I have a deep attachment to how I made that great scene," Isayama added.

Needless to say, we understand why Hajime Isayama is proud of the scene. After all, it was that one moment that completely swept the rug from under the readers and viewers.

It was also one of the first scenes that began to show a different side of Reiner, confirming that he is one of the most complex characters ever introduced in manga and anime.

The second half of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 has not yet been given an official release date but is already expected to premiere later this year.
