Does Hae-In Remember Hyun-Woo in Queen of Tears?
Going through amnesia is barely a new plot in K-dramas. If anything, fans are always looking forward to how Hong Hae-In (played by Kim Ji-Won) would recover her memories of Baek Hyun-Woo (Kim Soo-Hyun) despite his absence from her side.
As Hae-In was given no choice but to digest whatever lies Yoon Eun-Seong (Park Sung-Hoon) kept telling her, Queen of Tears episode 15 only shows just how much she was fated to end up with Hyun-Woo.
See, even though Hyun-Woo momentarily lost the diary Hae-In purposely left him with before her surgery, the diary found its way back to Hae-In's possession. But not in the easiest way possible.
Hae-In may have been right to go through surgery to make her life with Hyun-Woo much longer, but Hyun-Woo had to fight to escape his prison cell just so he could return to his wife's side.
Hae-In, of course, lost her memories, and though Eun-Seong tried to make her forget about Hyun-Woo, she had her own glimpses of her past memories. Here's how she somewhat recalled Hyun-Woo in episode 15.

Hae-In and Hyun-Woo's Much-Awaited Reunion Would Have To Wait
Eun-Seong knew that the diary was one of the major pieces of evidence he should get rid of if he sought to claim victory in his devious plan. He burnt its pages and assumed that Hae-In would stay in his clutches forever.
Despite Hyun-Woo's efforts to show their wedding video, Hae-In refused to accept the reality that perhaps this man wasn't as bad as Eun-Seong painted her.
However, as luck would have it, the diary still ended up in Hae-In's hands when it started to snow, and the cleaners in the German hospital miraculously found its contents.
They had shipped it to Hae-In's residence, thanks to Hyun-Woo's lawyer friend, Kim Yang-Gi.
Upon reading, everything flooded back into Hae-In, leading her to realize that her feelings for Hyun-Woo are true. However, they would have to go through another obstacle before they get their happy ending...
