Amid her growing fame, the actress gushes about the time Tim Burton called her to be cast on Wednesday.

Recently speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Gwendoline Christie recalls how she took Tim Burton’s casting call for her to come aboard on Netflix’ Wednesday as the principal of Nevermore Academy. The actress recalls the early works of Burton when she began to grow fond of the director, leading her to dream to work with him someday when she was younger. Some of Burton’s works that Christie loved were Pee-wee’s Big Adventure and Beetlejuice.
