What Is Gushing Over Magical Girls About?
Utena Hiiragi has harbored a deep love for magical girls and often daydreamed about becoming a heroic figure combating evil.
One evening, Venalita, a mysterious figure that looks like a doll, approaches her, asserting the presence of dormant magical powers within her.
Excitement courses through her, only to be replaced by disappointment when, in a cruel twist, she learns that she is a villain.
She is not one bit interested in aligning with the forces of darkness and attempts to break free, only to face opposition from a group of magical girls who declare war.
As the battle unfolds, Hiiragi unexpectedly discovers that she loves causing pain and thereby reveals her true nature.
Now, Hiiragi embarks on a journey as the leader of villains, clashing with magical girls and enjoying her newly discovered sadistic traits.

Gushing Over Magical Girls is an ecchi anime with themes around magic, fantasy, action, and comedy.
The first episode of Gushing Over Magical Girls strongly suggests that the series includes a significant amount of fanservice, nudity, and even physical assault.
Gushing Over Magical Girls is based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Akihiro Ononaka. The series is also known as Looking Up to Magical Girls.
The anime series is directed by Tadato Suzuki (Fruits Basket) and Atsushi Ootsuki (Arifureta - From Commonplace to World's Strongest).
Meanwhile, the series composition is handled by Noboru Kimura (Solo Leveling).
Yasuka Otaki (Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor) is credited for the character design while the art direction is by Arisa Taira (Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld).
The music of the anime is composed by Johannes Nilsson (Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-), Yasuharu Takanashi (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations), and Akinari Suzuki (Redo of Healer).
Asahi Production (Hayate the Combat Butler) has been roped in to produce the anime.
