Dragon Ball Super: Broly will pit Goku against a powerful Saiyan named Broly but Toei Animation has been keeping the story under wraps. However, recent interviews with the film's director, Tatsuya Nagamine, has given fans more details about what to expect and now, the filmmaker has revealed Goku's big goal.
"Goku is pretty close to the level of the Gods, and Vegeta is catching up to Goku as well... Goku's goal of 'simply getting more stronger,' remains the same," Nagamine said.
Here's the translation from Ken Xyro:
This shouldn't be all that surprising to fans. The first full trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Broly showed Goku expressing his desire to become stronger after the events of the Tournament of Power. Synopsis:
Dragon Ball Super: Broly is set to release in Japanese theaters this December, and it's expected to get a U.S. release in January 2019.
