Giancarlo Esposito Did His Own Stunts in The Mandalorian Season 2

The Mandalorian Season 2 will supposedly be coming out in a few months and fans can't wait to get more Western-style Star Wars action on Disney+. Fans are excited to see the direction this series goes into, especially since the second season will dive into the lore of the Darksaber and its current owner Moff Gideon, played by Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad fame. It turns out that Esposito might be as tough as Gideon since he did his own stunts.

Speaking with Collider about the series, Esposito talks about how he did his own stunts without a lot of rehearsal, even though this is a big-budget Disney+ series. He doesn't up and spoil the stunts since many of us are going to assume that some of them are lightsaber battles. With Rosario Dawson possibly appearing as Ahsoka Tano, a lot of fans are hoping for a battle between the two.

"I don't want you to have any spoilers, but I did all my stuntwork on my own, without a lot of rehearsal, even though it's a fairly big budget, technological piece with the volume and all the things that are going on...Sometimes that leaves less time to pay more attention to, and the stuntwork, by the way, has been with an Emmy nomination as well, to do that."

Moff Gideon is going to play a much bigger role this time around, with many of us assuming that he is going to be the main antagonist. He does have the Darksaber after all and we're sure that his pursuit of Baby Yoda is going to continue at full force. We don't mind, as long as it leads to some cool fight scenes.

The Mandalorian Season 2 will supposedly come out this October on Disney+.
