Despite their previous claims that their relationship was purely platonic, JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes have confirmed otherwise by getting cozy with each other while on vacation.
The two former Celebrity Big Brother housemates were spotted enjoying a romantic getaway in Mexico shortly after Siwa’s split from her ex-partner, Kath Ebbs.

JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes recently posted photos on Instagram looking very much like a couple, prompting fans to wonder if they had finally ‘hard launched’ their relationship.
Now, the two have further confirmed their status by sharing romantic moments in public during a vacation in Mexico.
Photographed first by The Sun, Siwa and Hughes were seen in a pool at an adults-only hotel, where they were caught smooching.
The photo showed the 32-year-old holding what appeared to be a cocktail in his hand as Siwa leaned in for a kiss while they relaxed on a floaty.
A source revealed that Siwa and Hughes “looked very loved-up” and “snogged up” openly for other tourists to see.
The pair also seem to be in their honeymoon phase, as according to the insider, they “looked like a giddy couple in the early throes of love,” holding hands and spending time together at the hotel.
“They were very hands on, not entirely different to how they were on TV just a bit more intimate.”
Siwa and Hughes were contestants in the 2025 Celebrity Big Brother UK and were often the subject of viewer discussions due to their evident closeness. Even then, the public saw them being nearly inseparable, cuddling, and even kissing each other on the face.
Though Hughes was single at the time, Siwa was still in a relationship with Australian influencer Kath Ebbs.
“JoJo seemed totally relaxed, really in love and not in any way the JoJo we see when she’s on stage. They’re just totally comfortable around each other." the source shared, describing the Karma singer’s demeanor during the getaway with her now-boyfriend.

Siwa’s recent adventures in Mexico City were what she described in an Instagram post as “magical,” as she not only performed there for a concert but also celebrated her 22nd birthday with boyfriend Hughes.
When it was time for them to part ways, the Dance Moms star shared a video clip of herself in tears as Hughes headed to the airport.
“Tears coming from under the sunglasses,” Siwa said, while Hughes glanced at the camera, looking somewhat downcast.
The Love Island alum had taken a 12-hour flight just to be there for his girlfriend’s concert and birthday. This effort mirrors the 24-hour flight Siwa’s ex, nonbinary partner Kath Ebbs, made when they visited her at the Celebrity Big Brother UK wrap party.
However, while Hughes returned to the UK a little saddened but mostly elated, Ebbs had gone back to Australia heartbroken. Siwa had confessed she no longer saw a future with them and wanted to “explore other things.”
Recently, Ebbs appeared to respond to the couple confirming their relationship on Instagram. The podcast host posted a photo of themselves with a blank expression, along with a caption above that read, “The only thing I have to say is LOL.”
