Gerard Way's Doom Patrol Comic Returns, Along With His Young Animal DC Imprint

DC's Young Animal line was an interesting experiment from the company as it let a number of creators work on some weird comic book titles. Obviously, one of the more important titles came from Umbrella Academy writer Gerard Way, who worked on a well-liked Doom Patrol run. The publishing line came to a temporary end, with promises to return, and it looks like that promise was fulfilled.

Starting this July, the My Chemical Romance frontman will be bringing back this weird line of comics, including a new Doom Patrol comic called Doom Patrol: Weight of the Worlds. Fans have wanted a proper followup to the series for quite some time, though we can only hope that those readers are ready for a ton of delays.

There's also a new Green Lantern series called Far Sector, which comes out in late 2019, and an original series called Collapser.
