February's Free PS Plus Games Include For Honor, Hitman Season One, and Metal Gear Solid 4

February might be the month of love but it's a sad one for those that still have their PS3 and PS Vita. Sony has confirmed that February 2019 is the last time PS3 and PS Vita owners will have "free" PS Plus games. On the bright side, PS4 owners will continue to get quality titles, with this month, in particular, having some strong games.

Here's a full list of the games and consoles they will be available on:

PlayStation 4
PlayStation 3
PS Vita

While it's a bit sad that PS3 and PS Vita owners won't be getting free games anymore, they seem to be going out on a high note. Making Metal Gear Solid 4 one of the final "free" games for the console is a nice move on the part of Sony since it gives them one of the system's best titles for free. Plus, Metal Gear Solid 4 still isn't available on other systems.

Those with a PS4 are in luck since Hitman: Season One is "free." The episodic game was praised for giving players complete freedom to kill each episode's targets however they want, hence the fact that there is a second season now. For Honor might not be Overwatch but it's a unique enough multiplayer game that players may want to check out, now that it's free.

The February PS Plus games will be available early next month.
