Fallout 76 is Not Coming to Nintendo Switch

Fallout 76 is one of November's biggest game releases and fans are pretty excited about it. This is the latest installment in the popular open-world RPG franchise that started with Fallout 3 and it has since grown in popularity. While fans have mixed opinions on the online-only service and some of the multiplayer elements, most were relieved when it was revealed that the game will let players play solo.

While many are excited to play the game on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, some have been curious about the title possibly coming to the Nintendo Switch. Bethesda has done a lot of good for the portable console, bringing both Doom and Wolfenstein II to the system. Sure, playing on PS4, PC, and Xbox One is the better option but they were still playable.

Unfortunately, an interview with GameSpot revealed that the game will not be coming to the system. Though Bethesda has prided themselves in bringing games to the handheld/home console combination, they stated that the size and power of Fallout 76 is a bit too much for Nintendo's new system.

Considering how titles like Skyrim and Breath of the Wild were able to work on the system just fine, not having Fallout 76 join that roster is a bit disappointing. Still, if Bethesda brings their other games to the system, like say Doom: Eternal, things should be fine.

Fallout 76 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 16.
