Marvel has a lot of projects prepared for Walt Disney Company's upcoming streaming platform, Disney+. This includes the Marvel mini series featuring Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and the Winter Soldier, Bucky (Sebastian Stan). While Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has been keeping mum about the future of the franchise after Avengers: Endgame, word on the street has it that the Falcon and Winter Soldier series already has a release date.
Deadline just recently revealed a set of new titles along with Falcon and Winter Soldier, and in the publication's report there was a pretty big clue about the mini-series release date. Now, it seems like the show is expected to drop on Disney+ on August 2020.
Though this release date has yet to be confirmed, this may be the first idea of a release date for one of Marvel's many projects for Disney's streaming service. Aside from Falcon and Winter Soldier, Marvel is also preparing a series featuring Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) called WandaVision. The studio is also preparing a series focused on Loki (Tom Hiddleston), the Asgardian God of Thunder. There's also a series being prepared for Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper) and for Groot (Vin Diesel), fan favourites characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) is also getting his own mini-series, one which will reportedly see the sharpshooter train his protégé.
Right now, the plot for Falcon and Winter Soldier is unclear. We'll just have to wait and see what Marvel has to offer.
Avengers: Endgame is currently screening in cinemas.
