After the trio had been researching clues as to who Sazz's killer might be, they stumble upon a new name in the picture: Dudenoff. Who is he and what's with his apartment in Only Murders in the Building season 4?

Who is M. Dudenoff and What's Up with His Apartment? Fan Theories Explored

While the trio, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel, are no closer to the legitimate killer behind Sazz's death, Detective Williams's team finds out that the gunshot came from West Tower's Apartment 14F across the Arconia.

According to their findings in Only Murders in the Building season 4 episode 3 titled Two For the Road, M. Dudenoff is a "retired professor" who was conveniently not in town and went to Portugal for unknown reasons.

However, when the trio landed in his apartment, an even weirder suspicion arises: why is there a live pig in the bathroom and why is a ham hanging over the bathtub?

Fans took to Reddit their wild theories that Dudenoff might be just a codename, after all.

According to one fan, "Dudenov" (which sounds similar to Dudenoff) is most prevalent in Bulgaria, the same country where Sazz's joint replacements came from.

The surname even bears a semblance to play-on-words for "Dude enough" considering the gig Sazz has to keep up with in being a "stunt double who doubles for a man."

Keep in mind that Charles himself has never known who lived beyond the closed blinds of Apartment 14F, which leads fans to another theory: Sazz rents the place, but even the neighbors do.

This may explain their common relation with the "Christmas" ham (Hammy Faye Bakker), the "ham" radio, and the leftover Christmas tinsel.

Something that could be taken as a private space the Westies rent that they could each use in their spare time. But most importantly, to keep an eye on Charles for Sazz.

Mabel decides to rent Apartment 14F herself since she doesn't have a permanent place to stay. That and in hopes of discovering who the killer might be soon enough.

Before the third episode ends, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel figure out that their last pending clue might have something to do with the untouched "ham" radio in Dudenoff's apartment.

Once they landed on the "correct" radio station to communicate, fans noticed the familiar voice of a German woman over the "ham" radio.

Although the woman is likely not the killer behind Sazz's death, she may be their next lead in uncovering the tracks as to who wants Charles gone.
