Based on what we've seen in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly promotional images and trailer, it looks like the upcoming film will focus on Goku and Broly, but it will also give Vegeta moments to shine.

The official Dragon Ball site shared interviews with the production staff of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and according to translator Todd Blankenship, the interviews show that the team has developed an interesting character arc for Vegeta. They haven't revealed any story details for Vegeta in the upcoming film but this information should give Vegeta fans a relief that the Saiyan Prince won't be just a punching bag or just a backup for Goku. Who knows? Maybe Vegeta's character arc will eventually merge with Goku's and they will eventually fuse into Gogeta, as it was hinted in the past that the fusion form will debut in the official canon in the film.

The interviews also revealed that Vegeta's battle with Broly will be a memorable one. An artist who worked on the film already teased the film's epic CG battle, so we might see some CG elements during Vegeta and Broly's fight.

Are you excited to see Vegeta fight Broly?
