It's easy for Dragon Ball fans to assume that Goku would beat Broly in the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly film. After all, he's the protagonist and he managed to defeat powerful villains like Frieza and Majin Buu before. However, it looks like there's a chance that Goku will actually lose to the Saiyan villain.

Saikyo Jump recently spotlighted Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and it shared a few details about the film. The latest issue of the magazine promoted the film and it teased whether Goku can beat the titular villain. Here's what the translation said:

"Frankly, the enemy Goku and co. are up against in this movie is the strongest. Those who trust Goku will win may lose confidence, so be careful," Saikyo Jump wrote, according to Todd Blankenship's translation.

While Goku's Ultra Instinct form could probably take down Broly, it's still unclear whether or not the heroic Saiyan can unleash the form after losing memory of it after the Tournament of Power. Even if Goku ends up transforming into Ultra Instinct, the powerful form would still have limits as we've seen in his fight against Jiren. Hopefully, we'll see Goku and Vegeta fuse together to beat Broly, but it's unlikely that Goku can take him down on his own.

Do you think Goku can beat Broly in the upcoming film?
