Dragon Ball Super: Broly is not just bringing Broly into the official canon but it will also explore the past of the Saiyans and Planet Vegeta in a fresh way, and that includes new Saiyan characters like Beets, and now, the new promos for the new Saiyan have released new details. Check it out:
Over on Twitter, GogetaVX pointed out that Beets will be portrayed by Takuya Kirimoto, and according to the character profile, Beets is not a fighter, he's a "staff" member in the Saiyan "Spaceship Arrival and Departure" Faction. His non-fighter status explains why he's not seen in the trailers of the upcoming film.
It looks like Beets doesn't play a major role in the film. When he was first introduced in the film, fans came up with theories about the Saiyan's identity. There's a theory that claims that he's the younger version of Broly but that didn't turn out to be true.
