Dragon Ball Super: Broly was released in U.S. theaters last week, and fans saw that Broly and Gogeta were officially introduced to the series canon but the film also retconned the origin of the Saiyans and the characters part of it.
Now, we know one of the changes is Vegeta's brother Tarble, who's been added to the franchise's official canon in Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Tarble's existence was confirmed during a flashback scene showing the destruction of Planet Vegeta.
Several years ago, Tarble originally debuted in Dragon Ball Z special Yo! Son Goku and his Friends Return!! as a low-level Saiyan who was exiled by King Vegeta for being too weak to be a warrior. He asks Vegeta for help against a deadly duo but hasn't been mentioned since.
Back in November, an official family tree was revealed, hinting the existence of Tarble. The chart explained that Tarble didn't get much attention because has low power levels: "Previously, King Vegeta judged him to be a noncombatant type Saiyan and sent him off to another planet in a capsule."
