Clarisse may not be a part of the golden trio that Percy Jackson befriended on Camp Half-Blood, but she stands out among the rest in her own way. Apart from being brave enough to handle battles and take charge during crises, Clarisse wears her badge of honor as an offspring of Ares loud and proud.
Her only weakness? Annabeth follows her plans through strategy and quick thinking, while Clarisse tends to take the aggressive path to pass through. Similar to the other demigods who are just as reckless as she is, Clarisse had gone through plenty of near-death experiences.
Overall, though, she doesn't die. In fact, she was even crowned hero after slaying a drakon and earned her father's respect in the final battle. As one of the standout characters, Clarisse's character development is just as strong and as crucial to the series.
