Does Avengers: Endgame Really Have A Post-Credits Sequence?

Warning: Minor spoilers for Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame had its global premiere earlier this week and while fans were eager to learn about what Marvel had hidden during and after the film's post-credits sequence, those who attended the Hollywood premiere revealed that nothing had been shown.

So does Endgame have a mid or post-credits sequence?

Unfortunately not. We were able to catch an early screening of the film and while we waited for the usual post and mid-credits sequence, we got nothing. It seems like Marvel might not be ready to let fans know what it has planned for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe just yet. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige did say that fans shouldn't expect any major Phase 4 announcement just yet – those things are set to come after Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Besides, the second chapter in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie does tie everything nicely. By the end of Endgame, fans get a hint of where Marvel might be heading when it enters the newest phase of the franchise. The film really does feel like a love letter to fans who've been following the MCU since Iron Man's release.

There's a lot riding on Endgame right now, and the film definitely delivers. Not only does the film serve as a sequel to Avengers: Infinity War, but it also serves as a culmination of the past ten years of the MCU. Now that some have seen the film though, we won't be surprised to see the film winning big both with fans and critics.

Avengers: Endgame makes its official premiere this Friday, April 26.
