Disneyland's Enhancements In Preparation For Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Pays Tribute To Rogue One

There are only a few months left before Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens at Disneyland and the park is clearly going out of its way to make sure it can accommodate all of the visitors who will be checking on the new expansion. Interestingly, Disneyland's enhancements in preparation for Galaxy's Edge is a cool reference to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland will undergo a refurbishment through spring. The blog noted that the refurbishment is part of Project Stardust, the series of enhancements that will ensure "a world-class guest experience" this summer.

The name of the project isn't lost to Star Wars fans. After all, Stardust was the nickname of Rogue One heroine Jyn Erso and also the code name for the Death Star schematics in the film. However, fans can rest assured that there are no plans to blow up Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland.

The blog also revealed what enhancements are being done to Disneyland ahead of the Galaxy's Edge opening.

There is little doubt that Galaxy's Edge will bring in hundreds of new visitors this year. It's great to know that Disneyland is doing all it can to prepare everyone for a truly immersive experience.
