Disney+ UK Subscribers Outraged Over Star Wars: The Mandalorian Release

Disney might have finally brought Star Wars: The Mandalorian to the UK when it launched Disney+ in Europe, but it looks like Star Wars fans in the UK aren't exactly happy with the way the House of Mouse is releasing Jon Favreau's hit Star Wars live-action series.

While the series was released in episodic installments in the US, the delayed service in the UK got fans hoping to receive a complete season of The Mandalorian when Disney decided to launch its streaming site in the area. However, the House of Mouse decided against the binge-watching release, opting to upload the series episode by episode very every week.

Though some fans have been taking the weekly release in stride, others aren't that happy that they're being made to wait for more episodes of The Mandalorian.

Check out some of the fanbase's angry tweets down below:

To the uninitiated, Star Wars: The Mandalorian features the adventures of a lone Mandalorian Warrior (Pedro Pascal) after the fall of the Empire right before the emergence of the First Order. Star Wars fans follow the series to follow the travails of this gunfighter and his adorable companion, the doe-eyed Baby Yoda.

The Mandalorian completed its first season back in December, and now everyone's looking forward to the second season of the hit Star Wars series. There isn't that much information about the show's next batch of episodes, however, the latest reports reveal that Marvel Netflix star Rosario Dawson is set to appear as Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian season 2 is set to premiere sometime later this year.
