The outbreak of the novel coronavirus has had quite an impact on the entertainment industry. Not only has the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of major events like this year's SXSW and Electronic Entertainment Expo, but it's also forced studios to delay the release of upcoming films and shut down the production of upcoming film and television projects.

It seems like Disney is hoping that the coronavirus pandemic finally slows down this summer, because the first film it has slated for this year is set for the middle of June. We hope that the outbreak does manage to slow down by then. The lockdown is taking a toll on everyone, not just on the entertainment industry. The economy is suffering heavily with everyone forced to stay at home and self-quarantine.
