Netflix is preparing just in time for Christmas. Up next on their roster is Meet Me Next Christmas, where Layla (played by Christina Milian) races through New York City to search for sold-out tickets to Pentatonix's Christmas Eve Concert.
Wouldn't you know? Layla is fated for more than a mere miracle as she meets Teddy (Devale Ellis) who helps her get her hands on the hottest ticket in town!

Devale Ellis is best known for playing Zac Taylor in the hit drama series on BET, Sistas, and went on to reprise his role in Zac and Fatima's spinoff titled Zatima.
Others may even recognize Ellis for his minor roles in The Blacklist, NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, A Christmas Fumble, and in It's Bruno!
During the promotion of Meet Me Next Christmas, Devale Ellis's character even gets a teasing spotlight that he may be debuting a song in the Netflix flick.
How Different is Sistas' Zac From Meet Me Next Christmas' Teddy?
While Sistas fans can never truly shake the Zac Taylor image from Devale Ellis, Teddy from the Netflix Christmas flick may be better than how Zac's been in his own life with Fatima.
"You'll see the sacrifices he makes for his mom. He's willing to do anything for his cousin. But most importantly, he's willing to do anything for Layla because he takes his job seriously," Ellis recently told Netflix Tudum, topping it all off with, "And he's the best cook."
A far cry from the red flags Fatima had to endure with Zac, Teddy, on the other hand, seems to be the too-good-to-be-true fairytale type of guy.
