Deadpool Is Eager To Welcome Back The Fantastic Four Over At Marvel

Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox not only means the arrival of the X-Men and all of Fox's other mutant characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it also means the return of the Fantastic Four at Marvel comics.

For the past few years, the Fantastic Four has been one of the biggest failures over at Fox with Josh Trank's Fantastic Four movie being one of the biggest flops of 2015. The family of heroes also been absent from the Marvel Comic Universe for a long, long time (the Fantastic Four's movie rights had left Marvel comics back in the 1980s).

Now, the merger between Disney and Fox allows the return of the Fantastic Four, and it looks like Marvel's Deadpool is celebrating their return.

Sure the Merc with a Mouth might have lost his ability to break the fourth wall but in the latest issue of Spider-Man/Deadpool #49, Deadpool manages to welcome the Fantastic Four home. The preview of Spider-Man/Deadpool #49 allows fans to check out the welcome wagon (via Screen Rant).

Check out Deadpool's welcoming words below:

In the latest issue of the comic, Spider-Man and Deadpool find themselves imprisoned in a mysterious dimension together with a group of heroes had also been captured by The Manipulator. Thanks to Gwenpool who's been hiding out in "Gutter Space," Deadpool manages to break free. Gwenpool then helps Deadpool head back to the dimension armed and ready to help free the heroes that he left behind – the Fantastic Four.

The Fantastic Four's return to Marvel Comics is definitely exciting news, though it may take some time for the special family to make their way to the MCU.

Spider-Man/Deadpool #49 hits shelves April 10.
