Fans didn't know how to feel when DC announced that Walmart would have 100-page Giants with exclusive stories from big creators. Tom King wrote a Superman story with Andy Kubert providing illustrations, Brian Michael Bendis would pen a Batman story that introduces Jinny Hex and has art from Doom Patrol artist Nick Derington, it's easy to see why fans of the direct comic book market would be jealous.

Well, don't worry, as DC has announced that these stories will soon be released in comic book stores as six-issue mini-series. The stories come out this July and have been renamed as Superman: Up in the Sky, Batman Universe, and Wonder Woman: Come Back to Me. The Wonder Woman story is from the Harley Quinn creative team of Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner, with Chad Hardin on art.
