We've been anticipating it for a while but DC Universe has finally released the very first image of the upcoming Stargirl show, featuring actress Brec Bassinger. Like Titans and Doom Patrol, fans will be happy to see the character's costume faithfully brought into live-action, looking like she stepped out of the comic books. She looks great and we can't wait to see what the other JSA members will look like.
The image, which is not an April Fool's joke, was revealed during WonderCon and it definitely has fans excited. We can't wait to see the fan-favorite DC character kick butt and go to school, probably forgetting to do her homework like Spider-Man. This costume looks good so let's hope that the script and filming is as well.
Aside from seeing the Geoff Johns creation come to life, fans are also hoping that this series is used as a springboard for a future Justice Society of America spin-off show. They were the first superhero group ever made after all and it would be a shame if they never appeared in their own live-action show, though we'd love to see a movie if that's the direction Black Adam is leading us to.
DC Universe's Stargirl will debut sometime in 2020.
